  • Udder Vital Bolus

    To boost resistance.

The Udder-vital Bolus is a supplementary animal feed (dietetic feed) to boost the animal’s resistance, udder vitality and condition. The bolus has been developed to provide many beneficial health effects and has broad applicability; it also helps to reduce the use of antibiotics.

The Udder-vital Bolus can be used for weak animals, somatic cell count, and during the transition period (during dry-off periods and when milking restarts). Good resistance will prevent many problems. The Udder-vital Bolus is a slow release bolus over a period of approximately 7 days. The bolus requires no waiting time before milk and meat can be delivered for consumption.

  • Flash Bolus

To boost disease resistance and udder health.

The Flash Bolus has been developed to boost disease resistance and body condition. It contains a mix of carefully selected herbal extracts, prebiotics and vitamins. Weaker animals or animals that are under stress (for example, around the time of calving) run an increased risk of infections, udder problems and reduced milk production. It is essential that the animal is kept in optimal condition so as to prevent such problems.  The bolus naturally boosts the health of the cow and enhances udder health. There is no milk withdrawal period.

  • Nopa Bolus

The Nopa Bolus is a supplementary animal feed (dietetic feed) that can be used in situations where hoof or udder health  is  compromised. Certain factors may cause stress in cows, such as a difficult birth. In this type of situation administration of the Nopa Bolus is recommended.

When to use the Nopa Bolus:

    • After calving
    • For udder and hoof problems

  • Calcin Bolus

To reduce the risk of milk fever.

The Calcin Bolus is a supplementary animal feed (dietetic feed) designed to reduce the risk of milk fever in cattle. After calving, cows may develop a calcium deficiency, which can result in milk fever.

The Calcin Bolus has a unique composition, with a high level of calcium,  magnesium and phosphorus that are easily absorbed. The Calcin Bolus provides the cow with calcium, which quickly corrects this deficiency. The bolus also contains prebiotics, which have a positive effect on the gut health and the rumen flora of your cows. Moreover, the prebiotics have a positive effect on the rate at which these minerals are absorbed.

  • Bica Bolus

Stimulates the desire to drink and supplements a lack of electrolytes

Diarrhoea in cows leads to the loss of large volumes of fluids and electrolytes, which results in acidosis (acidification). Cows affected with acidosis lose their desire to drink and this results in a dehydration and electrtolyte deficiencies.

The Bica Bolus contains sodium bicarbonate, which corrects the acidosis. The prebiotics in the Bica Bolus stimulate the uptake of electrolytes. The Bica Bolus naturally encourages the desire to drink and helps prevent dehydration, thus improving bovine health.

This bolus contributes to the good health of your cows and produces an increase in their energy levels. It is important that the energy levels of your cows remain normal and that any deficiency is supplemented. Milk production decreases in animals that have a negative energy balance.

The Green Energy Bolus rapidly boosts energy levels and corrects negative energy balances. The Green Energy Bolus contains various ingredients with a high energy value, and the addition of  prebiotics ensures rapid and efficient absorption of these ingredients. The bolus also contains vitamins and minerals to improve the animal’s general condition.
